KHURRAM NAAYAAB is General Manager, CSR for Vedanta Group and Head-Operations for Vedanta Limited’s flagship CSR project “Nand Ghar”, which aims at transforming the lives of 7 Cr. children and 2 Cr. women across 13.7 lakh anganwadis across India through provision of pre-school education, healthcare and entrepreneurship development. Since joining Cairn in 2010, a Vedanta group company Khurram have worked extensively in CSR and Sustainability, focusing primarily on strategizing various CSR solutions and projects from inception to completion. He has significant experience of establishing sustainability solutions, creating conditions for optimum project delivery, stakeholder engagement to create viable business solutions. Over the years Khurram has delivered duties pertaining to CSR in line with Companies Act, 2013. He has also been honoured as one of the top 100 Global CSR professionals for his work on the above. As part of the management both at Vedanta and Cairn he has been furthering an environment fostering entrepreneurial thinking and continuously guiding the company’s CSR towards its business linkage, CSR strategy, governance, and partnerships both at national and international fora. Khurram is a certified trainer of Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Guidelines and a SA8000 certified auditor. Apart from this Khurram is also working towards integrating Corporate Responsibility education (research and teaching) in the core curricula of Business Schools.
